Dear Colleagues, We would like to warmly remind you to join us on Monday7October for theSENSE Annual Symposium: ‘Uncertainties in Sustainability’. Program and registration (limited availability) is available in the event page. We will gather in the beautiful venue of De Veranda, in the vicinity of the VU campus, for a key note lecture of renown Prof. Ian Scoones, followed by a lunch mixer, a PhD awarded poster competition, an interdisciplinary roundtable discussion and live music with drinks to close the event. PhD students are strongly encouraged to submit their posters for the awarded poster competition, it will be a great opportunity to present and get feedback on their work from scholars and peers from the SENSE Network (VU, IHE-Delft, WUR, UT, RUG, RUN, OU). More information on the poster requirements are available in the event page. Certificates of participation will be provided after the Symposium to the PhD candidates who request it. PhD candidates who attend the event and submit their poster for the competition will be awarded 0.5 ECTS for conferences attendance. Participation without poster submission will count as 'networking event' in the TSP (future career section) and be awarded with 0.3 ECTS. Please note that the event is free of charge and open for all, mostly designed for PhD candidates and researchers, also outside the SENSE Network. We look forward to meeting you there! Kind regards, SENSE Management Committee
