Editorial

Dear SENSE member,

Are you curious about what is going on in the SENSE community?

Feel welcome to have a gander in the next online meeting of the SENSE PhD Council (SPC), a group of motivated and cooperative PhD candidates from different partners within SENSE. Or dive into the world of visual research methods. What about systematic approaches to review literature or co-production in Science? Or do you want to be challenged around nutrient recycling and materials valorisation from algae grown in wastewater or waste? The choice is yours!

Feel inspired by this newsletter in search for personal and scientific breakthroughs - major or minor - to bring satisfaction to your work.

SENSE team
From the SENSE PhD Council

Are you getting the most out of your PhD? While SENSE is trying its best to provide relevant trainings and courses for all PhD students, you might have ideas on how to make SENSE work even better for you. If that’s the case, why not join the SPC? The SENSE PhD Council represents the interests of PhDs in the SENSE network and supports the organization of activities and events by SENSE PhDs. It consists of members of all SENSE institutes, meeting about four times per year to discuss the latest developments within and around SENSE and the SENSE PhDs. SPC members are also sitting at the table with the SENSE board and the SENSE research and education committees. Does this sound like something you would like to be a part of? You’re welcome to join us at our next online meeting on April 16th, no strings attached. Just send a message to sense.spc@gmail.com.
Upcoming courses and discussion groups
A1 SENSE Introductory Course, 19-23 April 2021
In the week of 19 April 2021 - 23 April 2021, the next A1 course will be held online. The online meetings will take place in the mornings of that week. Part of the course is done via self-study. We will make that online part available a few weeks before the online meetings take place. We will also try and organise a physcial meeting day when the situation allows. This so you can also meet each other in person.
